Shannon Wrobel joined the Global Pain Management (GPM) team in 2024 as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a 17-year nursing career behind her. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan College in her native Rochester, NY before moving to Maryland in 2008. She gained expertise in cardiac, pulmonary, and GI disorders from working in a variety of hospital-based settings including intensive care and procedural areas. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University in 2023 and is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certified FNP-C.
She is known for her patient and kind demeanor and is always quick with a smile. She is passionate about providing high-quality, holistic care to her clients and believes the best outcomes are achieved as a team. When she’s not working with clients at GPM, you may find her curled up with a fantasy or sci-fi book, tending to her tropical houseplants, or doing art projects with her two children.
